Summary

We are seeking seeking a Platform Engineer β€” Global Operations to join Enterprise AI Operations within Data & Analytics. This contract role operates on a follow-the-sun coverage model and provides operational support, engineering, and continuous improvement for enterprise AI and data platforms. The role focuses on maintaining reliability, security, performance, and continuity across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, Databricks, Red Forge (internal AI gateway), and related enterprise AI and data technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational coverage and follow-the-sun support for assigned enterprise AI and data platforms during regional operating hours.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and utilization and respond to monitoring alerts and service interruptions.
  • Investigate, triage, and resolve platform incidents within established support procedures and escalate critical incidents as required.
  • Execute routine operational maintenance, approved configuration updates, and validated production changes during maintenance windows.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Power Platform operational administration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and support Databricks workspace availability, compute and cluster issues, Unity Catalog administration, and workspace provisioning procedures.
  • Monitor Red Forge gateway and Kubernetes-based deployments, investigate connectivity and model-provider integration, and support operational recovery procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts, infrastructure-as-code support, and CI/CD pipeline tasks to reduce manual operational activities.
  • Maintain accurate incident records, runbooks, handoff documentation, and perform structured shift handoffs to ensure operational continuity.
  • Coordinate with platform architects, software engineers, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT teams on complex incidents, changes, and platform improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, ideally with experience operating in the Asian markets a follow-the-sun global support model.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
  • Ability to independently investigate and resolve operational issues and own assigned platform responsibilities end-to-end.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, and enterprise AI gateway operations (Red Forge).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio monitoring and administration.
  • Experience with operational monitoring, incident management, production reliability, and structured incident response procedures.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and operational maintenance.
  • Understanding of enterprise identity management, access controls, and security practices and ability to perform access management within approved permissions.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure automation and ability to contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
  • Experience working with ticketing and enterprise service management systems and maintaining accurate operational documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to collaborate across geographic regions and time zones.
